The visit provided an opportunity to explore Cornerstone University’s futuristic infrastructure and innovative approach to higher education, with emphasis on character development, competence-based education, practical learning, and technology-enabled teaching.
A Christ-centred university, Cornerstone focuses on transforming communities through faith-based education, ethical leadership, professional training, and technology-driven skills development.
The Secretariat also appreciated the University’s sustainability initiatives, including its solar energy system that supports operations independently of the national electricity grid, investment in water infrastructure, and efforts towards building a modern and sustainable university environment.
The engagement highlighted how innovation, sustainability, practical education, and strategic partnerships can contribute to the growth of financially sustainable and future-ready higher education institutions.
