UVCF General Meeting – September 2026
The Uganda Vice Chancellors Forum General Meeting scheduled for September 2026 will bring together Vice Chancellors, Deputy Vice Chancellors, Academic Registrars, and Heads of Member Institutions to discuss strategic issues affecting higher education in Uganda. The meeting will provide a platform for reviewing the Forum’s achievements, discussing policy and regulatory developments, strengthening institutional collaboration, and sharing best practices in university governance, quality assurance, research, innovation, and digital transformation.
The meeting will also consider updates on key UVCF initiatives, including competency-based education and training (CBET), the national university data systems, international partnerships, capacity-building programs, and emerging trends in higher education. Participants will engage in deliberations aimed at enhancing the quality, relevance, and sustainability of university education while reinforcing the collective voice of member institutions in national development.
